The development work for our Joint Venture Company (PEARL2) with Pendle Borough Council consisted of the renovation of 14 listed terraced houses on Stanley Street, formerly mill houses which are protected under the English Heritage Trust.
The extensive renovation work consists of new kitchens, highly efficient heating, electrics, sand blasted, repointed, new windows, doors, re-roofing, kitchen roof reslated, timber sliding sash window frames & gutters.
All stone & slate is to be salvaged and reused and the chimney stacks were replaced.
Twelve of the fourteen terraces have been knocked from two houses into one to make larger homes comprising of two lounges, kitchen(large) dining room sitting room. Normal homes will have a kitchen, dining room and lounge.
Barnfield Construction have been commended for their speedy, thorough and effortless customer service approach which resulted in us starting work on the next two streets which are Albert and Mosley Street.
